Governors at Marden High School are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring leader to work alongside the Headteacher and senior leadership team. The new deputy will be passionate about student progress and enrichment and have an excellent track record in school development and leadership. They will be prepared to commit wholeheartedly to our values, upholding the positive ethos and inclusive culture of our school. The successful candidate will have a key strategic role in developing all aspects of Personal Development and Enrichment as well as close monitoring of Progress for all students and Disadvantaged. In addition, the new deputy will demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and articulate clear values and moral purpose as below.
- Model excellence in the classroom, leading the development of colleagues at all levels
- Promote high expectations in all areas of the school and hold staff to account
- Confidently evaluate performance data and identify priorities for continuous improvement
- Implement change, using research as a driver, and lead teams in achieving measurable impact
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with the whole school community – students, parents, governors and colleagues, and beyond.
- Evidence successful senior leadership experience as an Assistant or Deputy Headteacher
