The governors of Grangetown Primary School are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant for September 2023.
The successful candidate will have:
- proven themselves to be a consistently good or outstanding practitioner;
- experience of taking full classes;
- experience of working in a specialist setting with high needs children;
- gained qualifications and attended courses within a SEN setting;
- excellent behaviour management skills;
- the ability to work in a team and share good practice;
- a real desire to collaborate and develop professionally; and
- high levels of emotional intelligence to establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues and to contribute to maintaining the calm, working atmosphere that our pupils enjoy.
To work in the school Additional Resource Centre for High Needs Children covering children from Y3 to Y6.
