Position Details:

• Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Hours: 37 hours per week
• Term: 38 weeks Term Time + 3 days
• Start Date: To be agreed upon
• Contract: Permanent
• Salary Range: NJC Scale 12 – 17 £24,496 – £26,845 FTE (£20,580 – £22,554 Actual)
• Possibility to boost hours during periods of school closure (to be discussed)

The Role: As a HLTA at Kepier, you will work closely with small groups of children outside of the classroom. Our philosophy is to provide learners with the necessary support to reintegrate them into the classroom, where qualified teachers can ensure their continued progress. This approach makes the role both varied and rewarding.

Responsibilities: You will undertake a wide range of tasks that require excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. It is essential to effectively manage your workload, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a good sense of humour. Confidentiality is of utmost importance in this position.
