High Tunstall College of Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Science & STEM Lead from January 2023, to ensure all of our young people are able to achieve their potential in the subject. We currently deliver AQA Trilogy Science to the majority of our KS4 cohort and a robust number of our students choose AQA Triple Science. We also offer AQA Psychology and BTEC Health and Social Care to broaden our curriculum offer.
The Discovery Faculty is at the heart of the development of High Tunstall College of Science and is instrumental in securing future success. As a Faculty, we strive to maximise the ability of our students to master scientific concepts to allow our students to effectively apply scientific knowledge, we devote a considerable amount of faculty time to developing and sharing good practice. Engaging students in purposeful learning experiences is the key to outstanding progress and we are fully committed to preparing students to become fluent in using their science skills as we prepare our learners for the transition into higher education and the rapidly evolving workforce of the future.

High Tunstall College of Science is a school that serves the community of North West of Hartlepool and its surrounding villages.
