As a Teacher of Social Sciences at Harton Academy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding education to students at all stages of their secondary journey, including sixth form. Your expertise will help shape engaging learning experiences and drive achievement across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching across Key Stages 4 and 5, covering A level Psychology, Level 3 Criminology and Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care, as well as supporting our whole school enrichment and personal development programme across all key stages.
- Design and deliver dynamic lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities.
- Foster student progress by utilising a range of formative and summative assessment strategies, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of the Social Science curriculum, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need for success in examinations and beyond.
