Greenfield Community College
We are an 11-16 school with sites in Newton Aycliffe and in Shildon.
We provide an environment for learning that is meaningful, engaging, relevant and accessible. This encourages our young people to have high self-esteem and fulfil their highest possible aspirations as powerful self-led learners.
We have an extended dimension through the work of Greenfield Arts and Greenfield Sports. Altogether we are a caring, inclusive and creative organisation and our values are:
- To try
- To achieve
- To inspire
To be an exceptional school, where we can offer extraordinary opportunities, that each and every student takes advantage of, to develop fully their potential as ambitious, confident, self-led learners.
To achieve this:
- we create a self-improving culture of learning across our organisation.
- we provide an inclusive curriculum promoting a strong student voice and a can-do attitude.
- we work together to realise an out standing learning experience for our young people.
As a result of being part of our school, a successful Greenfield Learner is resilient, reflective, responsible, creative and collaborative.
