For 1st September 2025, we are seeking to appoint an energetic and driven individual who is passionate about teaching and learning in order to support the school’s aim of achieving high results, consistently excellent classroom practice and developing numeracy across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment and provide effective and engaging learning opportunities that meet the needs of all students. Applicants will be highly motivated and have a passion to ensure that our learners achieve the very best that they can at all times. The core purpose of the role will be to uphold the fundamental standards of pride, respect and achievement with all learners but also ensure that all students receive the highest standard of bespoke support.
As well as being an excellent classroom practitioner the successful candidate will be responsible for whole school numeracy and will work with colleagues across the curriculum to ensure numeracy is embedded across all subjects and that students routinely have high quality opportunities to develop and demonstrate their numeracy skills.

In this role you will:
- Be part of the decision making and the direction of the school in relation to whole school numeracy
- Use skills in monitoring and evaluating the quality of work around numeracy in order to identify best practice in the school
- Work with colleagues to reflect on, discuss and learn from the best practice in order to raise standards
- Plan and lead staff training
You will be responsible for:
- Developing whole-school initiatives to promote enjoyment, confidence and positive
attitudes towards maths and numeracy - Developing and monitoring targeted interventions to support students with weak numeracy skills including practical applications
- Collaborating with curriculum leaders to ensure numeracy is effectively embedded across subjects and consistently applied through cross-curricular planning
- Working closely with the senior leadership team to plan and deliver professional
development focused on improving numeracy teaching and raising attainment in maths
