The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Teacher of IT & Business for Excelsior Academy to start as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to commence or to progress their career within an established and supportive team. The ideal candidate will display a passion for IT & Business, delivering engaging lessons which will enthuse and inspire our pupils. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to bring IT & Business alive, linking learning to real life. Thus, enabling students to see the relevance of the subject and how they can utilise the skills they develop beyond the classroom.
About the school
Excelsior Academy is an All-Through Academy providing education for students aged 3 – 19, serving the West End of Newcastle. Working at Excelsior, you will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement.
We are members of Laidlaw Schools Trust which is a growing multi academy trust in the North East of England, serving children and families in the west of Newcastle, Sedgefield and in Pennywell, Sunderland. We pride ourselves in being a progressive, inclusive trust that supports every child to develop their talents whatever they may be and to reach their academic potential.
