High Tunstall College of Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Health & Social Care for September 2025 or sooner, to ensure all of our young people are able to achieve their
potential in the subject. This post would also be suitable for ECT’s.
The Discovery Faculty is at the heart of the development of High Tunstall College of Science and is instrumental in securing future success. Within the Faculty we offer a broad and balanced Curriculum, the BTEC Health and Social Care qualification continues to play a significant role in our curriculum offer within the Faculty with consistently large cohorts across KS4, which are increasing
year on year.
As a Faculty, we strive to maximize the ability of our students to achieve the highest possible standard across the Science and Health and Social Care programme of study. The aim is to allow our students to effectively apply delivered knowledge, so we devote a considerable amount of faculty time to developing and sharing good practice across all branches of our curriculum including options such as Health and Social Care. Engaging students in purposeful learning experiences is the key to outstanding progress and we are fully committed to
preparing students in the transition into higher education and the rapidly evolving workforce of the future.
