The Trustees are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Geography for September 2023.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography with the ability to inspire and enthuse our pupils. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Geography and be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments. This is an ideal position for someone who is excited to embrace an opportunity to progress in their career in a supportive and innovative environment. The post is suitable for an ECT or a more experienced colleague.

Working at Excelsior will challenge you but the rewards are huge. Successful candidates will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement and will have the potential to work in Key Stages three, four and five.

Excelsior Academy is an All-Through Academy providing education for students aged 3 – 19, serving the West End of Newcastle. Working at Excelsior, you will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement.

You will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
