At the Prior Pursglove College site, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching A Level Mathematics.
The college is known for its drive to widen participation and provide access to education for all. The overwhelming majority of students achieve their very aspirational targets regardless of their prior attainment levels. Equally, we provide effective support for students to progress to Russell Group Universities, Oxbridge or higher apprenticeships.

The ideal candidate is likely to:
- be an outstanding teacher of Mathematics with experience or a willingness to teach Mathematics and potentially Further Mathematics at A-Level
- have high quality and in-depth subject knowledge
- plan and adapt teaching effectively to meet the needs of all students, especially those who require additional support
- ensure the provision of resources which allow students to become independent learners
- be an effective team player in a dynamic department
- provide formative and summative assessment for all students in a timely and effective manner
- build a positive academically-focused rapport with all learners
- support students academically outside lessons as appropriate
- link the subject to the wider working world and embed employability skills
