Norham High School is an 11 – 16 comprehensive school serving part of the South East locality of North Shields.
We require Special Support Assistants; previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour would be advantageous.
You will join an enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team who provide high quality and effective support for students with a range of additional educational needs. Student support ranges from students with language and communication difficulties including students on the Autistic Spectrum to mainstream students.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post will require the successful applicant to apply for an enhanced disclosure with the Criminal Records Bureau.
