Our multi-academy trust is a collaborative partnership of six primary and secondary schools with ambition to grow within the North East. Our shared purpose is to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve.
This project role will involve working directly with school and central team leaders to review the trust’s policy framework and ensure it provides clarity for our learners, parents/carers and workforce. You’ll have a key role to establish new systems and processes to enable the timely review and approval of policies, draft model policies for schools to reduce leaders’ workload and provide briefings/training on new ways of working.
This role could suit people from a range of backgrounds. You may already be making a difference in the schools sector but looking for a change in career or already have relevant experience and skills but would like to develop these in a new environment.
Whatever your background, some prior experience of drafting policies, procedures and guidance and the ability to investigate queries and research best practice is needed. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential and you should have a good working knowledge of IT to establish new organisation-wide processes.
Options for full-time/part-time/term-time working and flexible hours are possible, as well as the potential for hybrid working depending on individual preferences.
Some travel within the region will be necessary to attend face-to-face meetings.

NEAT Academy Trust
NEAT Academy Trust, usually known as NEAT, was formed in 2017 from an existing collaboration of schools within North East England.
Academy trusts are charitable companies set up to provide education for the public benefit. We are a “mixed” multi-academy trust as we were established to include both non-faith and Church of England schools.
