St Anne’s Catholic Primary School is a ‘Good’ rated school based in Harlow Green with 135 children on roll. We live by our mission statement each day, ‘Working Together: in faith, learning and love. We have an exciting opportunity for a PPA Class Teacher to join our team in September 2024.
We are seeking an individual to:
- Implement and deliver an appropriate broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils.
- Foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity for fulfil their individual potential.
- Set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour and maintain a good standard of discipline through well-focused teaching, fostering positive relationships and implementing the school’s behaviour policy and systems.
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to be a highly effective classroom practitioner.
- Effective behaviour management strategies.
- Knowledge of a range of teaching and learning styles.
- Experience of planning and evaluating learning activities and assessing/tracking pupil progress.
- Knowledge and experience of meeting the individual educational needs of children.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.

Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, formerly The Trinity Catholic Multi Academy Trust was set up on 1 February 2012. Cardinal Hume Catholic School, Gateshead was the first school in the trust.
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, is currently a family of 5 secondary schools and 21 primary schools from across Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland, in the west of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust is expanding rapidly and will reach a total of 48 schools by Summer 2022.
