About the Role

As Pathway Lead, you will:

• Lead a cluster of subject specialisms within the SCOSL pathway, with an emphasis on high-quality education and outdoor learning.
• Be responsible for the design and implementation of personal development and student wellbeing strategies.
• Drive academic success while embedding our holistic approach to learning through projects, fieldwork, and real-life experiences.
• Line manage a dedicated team of teachers and support their continuous professional growth.
• Be a visible and inspiring presence across the academy, helping shape a culture rooted in respect, responsibility, courage and kindness.

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to lead by example and coach others to excellence.
• Has a proven track record of raising student achievement through innovation, data-informed strategies, and an inclusive approach.
• Understands the impact of SEMH and trauma on young people and is passionate about supporting their personal growth and academic success.
• Has experience or interest in project-based and expeditionary learning, service learning, and holistic education.
• Thrives in a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
