Midday Supervisor

Salary: NJC 2 – £2,737 (Actual) £20,256  (FTE) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (12-1 Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Start date: March 2025 

Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our pupils have a safe, nourishing and welcoming lunchtime experience. This is an ideal role for those with experience of being around children either professionally or personally such as parent, guardian or family member.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:

• Lead and supervise play: Organise engaging activities for children aged 3-11.
• Promote positive behaviour: Encourage respectful and appropriate behaviour during lunchtime.
• Ensure safety and well-being: Monitor children’s safety and well-being in the playground and dining hall.
• Foster social skills: Help children develop problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Creative and engaging: Able to inspire and motivate children.
• Organised and reliable: Can manage responsibilities effectively.
• A team player: Works well with colleagues and collaborates effectively.
