St Benet’s is a popular and thriving primary school at the heart of a very caring and dynamic community. In our recent Ofsted inspection (December 2024), it was recognised that ‘Pupils are happy at this vibrant school and that the school has high expectations for all pupils’ achievement.’ In addition, under the DfE’s school rebuilding programme, St Benet’s shall benefit from a new school building in the future. The Governors of this friendly and caring school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic, creative and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will commence work on 20th April 2026 or as soon as possible.
The post holder will:
- Have experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities/interventions
- Be able to follow instructions given by the class teacher
- Be approachable and kind to our children
- Enjoy being part of a team dedicated to doing your very best for the children
- Be a team player and able to work collaboratively with all school staff
- Have experience of supporting children in Early Years
- Have a commitment to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school and support the aims of Mission Statement
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
