St Joseph’s Catholic Academy wish to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, 30 hours per week, to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible and enthusiastic, working under the direction of the Headteacher. All applicants should be willing to support the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
Successful candidates will be able to:
• Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.• Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
• Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage all pupils in activities
• Promote independence and employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement of self- reliance;
• Provide effective support to the Teachers across the school.
