This post is part time, term time only plus 5 training days.
We’re seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with experience of providing classroom support, to assist with the learning and personal development of all our children. Under the direction of the teacher, you will work to establish positive relationships, empathising with the needs of our children.
We are looking for a Support Assistant to work within our school, who can inspire and who has:
- Learning Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Motivation to work with children and young people.
- Emotional resilience when working with challenging behaviours.
Our school is one of seven primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.
