Durham High School are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic, Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to support a Year 7 pupil in Senior Department. Support may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching areas.
The role is required 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm) term time only, plus attendance at 5 INSET days.
Salary will be paid on Durham High salary scale SS26, at £26,714.58 FTE, which equates to £8,823.83 pro rata (2 days per week, term time only).
The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 3 February 2025.
Interviews will be held Friday 14 February 2025.
As this relates to support for an individual pupil, the position will terminate in and when the pupil leaves the school.
