Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

We are looking for an inspiring teacher with the drive and vision to build upon the school’s successes to date and develop a shared expectation of high educational standards in the school. You will champion our young people and relentlessly strive for the very best.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working with young people within secondary education or be able to offer evidence of ability to succeed in this role.
We are looking for a teacher who can inspire and influence and who :-
– Has a thorough understanding of how young people learn and the core features of an effective curriculum
– Has a successful track record as a teacher that demonstrates high quality teaching and learning and has a positive impact on learner outcomes
– Is able to develop an effective whole school numeracy strategy and implement and evaluate this
– Has led or contributed to research or projects to improve a school’s curriculum
