Hours: 37 hours, Full time, Term Time Only (39 weeks), Permenant
Applications are invited from dedicated and committed candidates for the post of Higher Level Teaching Assistant from 1st September 2025 (with the possibility of the start date being sooner than this) at St. John Boste Catholic Primary School. As well as qualified HLTA’s, we would welcome applications from Early Career Teachers who are wanting to gain valuable classroom / school based experience before embarking on their teaching career.

St John Boste wish to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our highly effective team.
We are seeking an individual to:
- To cover classes for management time, subject leader time and PPA where necessary.
- To plan and deliver interventions across all key stages as and when required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working across the key stages
- Experience of whole class supervision
- Experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Have a good understanding of children’s learning
- Sound practical, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience of supporting children with SEN
- Be flexible and approachable
