Finance Manager (Part Time)
We are looking to appoint a part time Finance Manager at our thriving independent preparatory school for girls and boys aged 3-11. We are situated in the heart of Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, close to public transport links, and seek to complement our highly committed, friendly and passionate team.
The role of the Finance Manager is to assist the Bursar in the financial management and operational running of the support functions of the school. This will include the preparation of termly management accounts, budget monitoring, payroll, plus other financial analysis as requested by the Bursar. The right person for this role will have an excellent understanding of financial management, supported by professional accounting qualifications.
The Administrative team consists of the Bursar, the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant, the Office Manager and the Office Assistant. This is a tight knit team which supports each other to ensure the smooth running of the school, meaning that at busy times, the whole administrative team will be expected to offer help and support.
The school operates Engage and SAGE Accounts as its MIS and accounting systems, alongside SAGE payroll.
The salary will be dependent upon experience.
