Early Years Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Thomas Walling Primary Academy. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning, helping children develop essential skills, and creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children’s learning in a variety of settings – 1:1, small groups, and whole class
• Assisting with lesson planning, teaching activities, and classroom management
• Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion in line with school strategies

What we are looking for:

• A Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or higher)
• Experience working with children aged 2-5 years in an educational setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Understanding of child development, assessment, and tracking progress
• Ability to support children with SEND and implement inclusive practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
