We’re delighted to be recruiting to the post of Deputy Research School Director at Newcastle Research School. This role is key in supporting the strategic direction of our Research School as we aim to improve the quality of teaching by using academic research in ways that makes a real difference.
The role is key in facilitating the sharing of educational research and is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the educational landscape. We are looking for a colleague who:
- Can drive forward the continued successful contributions of the Newcastle Research School to the wider Research School Network.
- Will grow our reach as a Research School and confidently deliver sessions, online webinars and conferences that enthuse and inform educators.
- Has experience in research and development with the ability to organise bespoke packages of evidence-informed training for teachers and school leaders that they can translate into practice.
This post is fixed term for 2 years (until 31st August 2027).
Newcastle Research School is part of NEAT Academy Trust. The NEAT Academy Trust family of schools has 6 primary schools and 2 secondary schools.
