The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust invite applications for this position, at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Newton Aycliffe, to commence September 2023.

We are looking for a leader who:
- Is a practising Catholic and has a clear understanding of education and leadership in a Catholic Primary Academy.
- Has commitment to nurturing and promoting the Academy’s distinctive ethos.
- Has a proven track record as an outstanding practitioner with excellent communication skills.
- Will inspire, challenge and encourage staff.
- Will enable every child to reach their highest potential.
- Will nurture a strong, caring ethos and community spirit.
- Has the ability and ambition to continue to raise standards in the Academy and across the Trust.
- Will maintain and develop our Academy’s partnership with parents, within the Parishes, the Trust, the Diocese and other organisations.
- Will nurture the spirituality and wellbeing of staff and the community.
