Applications are invited from practising and committed Catholics for the post of Deputy Headteacher at St Agnes’ Primary School.
St Agnes’, in Crawcrook, is proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest Catholic Education Trust in the Northeast of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
- Is a committed and practising Catholic who values the distinctive nature of Catholic Education
- Is an outstanding classroom teacher with a passion for highly effective teaching and learning
- Is creative, innovative and forward thinking
- Is able to work collaboratively with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors
- Sets targets and plans rigorously to ensure that all children thrive and achieve their full potential
- Leads by example and has high expectations of everyone
- Forms positive relationships, challenges, motivates and inspires others
