At St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College, we are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active person to be a Cover Supervisor. The successful application will supervise individuals/groups and whole classes during short-term absences of teachers in their learning of work programmes prepared by class/subject teacher ensuring that relevant materials/equipment and resources are available.
The successful application should be prepared to invigilate tests and examinations and accompany staff and pupils on educational visits and out of school activities. There will also be an expectation to provide general administration support to various departments.
You should have a proven experience within education over the last 2 years and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.
