The position is to start 4 September 2023

The role of the School Cook is very important within the school and the successful candidate will be effective at working to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will assist the Catering Manager in the preparation and delivery of the school’s catering service, adhering to Health & Safety requirements and other statutory regulations. We are looking to appoint a responsible and reliable individual, who will maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

The successful candidate will also be able to work on their own initiative, as well as being an effective team member.

St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form College is recognised by Ofsted as a Good Provider and achieved Outstanding in all areas during the Hexham and Newcastle Diocesan Inspection (October 2019).
