As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our pupils. The successful candidate will work as part of a professional team and contribute to ensuring the overall well-being of our school community. The Cleaner post is to be based at South Hylton Primary Academy. South Hylton Primary Academy is a smaller-than-average primary school dedicated to providing education for children aged 3-11 years old. As part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), the school emphasises collaboration and mutual support among academies for the benefit of pupils and their families. The academy benefits from strong support provided by an experienced Laidlaw School Trust (LST) central team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
LST is a growing multi academy trust in the North East of England, serving children and families in the west of Newcastle, Sunderland and Sedgefield. We pride ourselves in being a progressive, inclusive trust that supports every child to develop their talents whatever they may be and to reach their academic potential. It is important that as a learning organisation we adapt and change to the needs of our pupils. We take care to value and develop all colleagues to make sure they can do their very best for children across the Trust’s schools.
We offer excellent benefits including 26 days holiday (plus public holidays), access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounted and free gym access.
We have recently introduced a number of new staff benefits including a healthcare cash plan to support with everyday healthcare costs, access to Perkbox (with a wide variety of discounts and freebies at a range of retailers), financial wellbeing tools and discounted travel schemes.
