Thus, there are a number opportunities for CPD and collaborative work across a number of schools. Furthermore, a comprehensive and bespoke support and induction programme is provided for all new staff.
We wish to appoint a committed and reliable person to the role of Careers Advisor/Coordinator, who will support the school with exciting development of our careers programme, specifically to undertake the student careers personal guidance interviews to ensure the school meets Gatsby Benchmark 8. A L6 qualification in careers guidance and development or equivalent is required as a minimum requirement for this post. We are looking for an individual with excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills who is keen to learn and willing to assist the school careers leader in coordinating careers events and strategic planning of the careers programme when necessary.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within an established and supportive team of colleagues, and will have the benefit of working in our modern building and excellent facilities.

Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, formerly The Trinity Catholic Multi Academy Trust was set up on 1 February 2012. Cardinal Hume Catholic School, Gateshead was the first school in the trust.
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, is currently a family of 5 secondary schools and 21 primary schools from across Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland, in the west of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust is expanding rapidly and will reach a total of 48 schools by Summer 2022.
