An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Headteacher position at Benedict Biscop CE Academy to be part of the Senior Leadership Team.
We are seeking to appoint an innovative, ambitious Assistant Headteacher who wants to play an integral part in school improvement and have a significant impact in improving outcomes for all, in a fully inclusive, ethos and culture.
Dedicated release for management time will be given with the expectation to impact across whole school ‘Teaching and Learning.’ This offers an exciting leadership opportunity for the ideal candidates.

Benedict Biscop CE Academy
Benedict Biscop Academy is a Church of England school within the Diocese of Durham and serves the Wearmouth (Sunderland) Deanery. The school became an Academy in 2012, and a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) – The Northern Lights Learning Trust in 2016. It is an average size primary school with approximately 300 pupils on roll. We provide education for children from 3 to 11 years. The Academy’s standard admission number recently increased from 30 to 45.
