The Trustees are seeking to appoint an Administrator (Governance) who will support our academies within the Laidlaw Schools Trust by providing a high-quality clerking and administrative support service. You will join our central team as soon as possible in a key role supporting the Trust in the development of our Academies.
The role is part of a central services team, which currently supports eight academies. This role presents an ideal opportunity for a candidate with the desire, initiative, and motivation to manage and drive improvement. Full on the job training will be provided and accredited training will be available with the National Governance Association.
You will often be dealing with information of a highly confidential nature, and will need to be trustworthy and discreet in order to meet our data protection obligations. You should be used to working your own initiative and be proactive in completing tasks promptly, whilst being adaptable to keep up with the unpredictable nature of the workload where demands may change.
Specific experience is not essential, but you will need to be computer literate and have a flexible work ethic that will allow you to fully support the needs of the role, which will include regular evening support for official meetings and governor training.
