Administration Assistant

Location:      Our Lady and St Joseph Brooms Catholic Primary School, Leadgate, Consett DH8 7SN

Grade:          Grade D, SCP 5-7 (£24,790 – £25,584 per annum, pro rata)

Hours:          37 Hours per Week, Permanent, Term Time Only + 5 days (39 weeks)

To support our school community in living out our mission statement we are recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic administration assistant to join our hardworking, efficient and friendly team.

We are seeking an individual to:

• Work under the direction of the Head of School and senior leadership team to provide administrative support to the school
• Be a positive, friendly and welcoming first point of contact for the school
• Have excellent ICT skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Publisher) along with the ability to learn new software systems
• The ability to capture, store and accurately retrieve information
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be part of a welcoming and supportive team of staff, parents and governors
