Laidlaw Schools Trust is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their Central Finance Department on a full-time permanent contract basis. The role would be part of a team of seven based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This key individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties including processing invoices and expenses, investigating and escalating queries, assisting with month end preparations and journal processing. They will also provide an accurate and timely service to both internal and external customers for the Trust.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience working within a finance and accounting role dealing with customers both internally and externally and will have strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
