1x Learning Support Assistant Level 2, permanent, 26 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. N3 £21,625 – £21,967 per annum (£15,195 – £15,436 per annum pro rata)
Tyneview Primary School is seeking to appoint two Support Assistant Level 2s. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to provide classroom support under the direction of the teacher, answering to pupils’ social, emotional and physical needs.
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Learning Support Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to use language and other communication skills that children can understand and relate to.
- Ability to empathise with the needs of children and in particular able to establish positive relationships with pupils.
- Ability to supervise groups of pupils.
