As the first point of contact for our school, you will be responsible for a variety of reception, clerical, and administrative tasks. You’ll be the friendly face greeting parents, carers, and visitors, while also providing essential support to the Senior Leadership Teams, Business Support Managers, and other staff members across the trust.
We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in a similar administrative role.
- Educated to a good standard, with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Highly motivated and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
One position is based at Central Walker Church of England Primary School, a modern, 21st-century school with excellent learning spaces. The other position is at Tyneview Primary School, a popular and welcoming school that is always full. In both schools, you’ll be part of a small, supportive Business Support Team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
We are part of the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools, which includes six primary and two secondary schools. Our mission is to nurture, educate, achieve, and transform the lives of young people across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.
In return we offer:
- Great opportunities for continuing professional development and a career pathway across our trust.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), delivered by Health Assured – the UK and Irelands leading wellbeing provider.
- National living Wage, meaning everyone at NEAT Academy Trust receives a minimum hourly wage of £12.60 per hour.
- Cycle to work scheme offering savings on a range of bikes and safety equipment via salary sacrifice.
- Access to free eyes tests for DSE users.
- Opportunities for flexible working. Discounts for large national retailers and local businesses in a wide range of categories including holidays, cars, days out, fashion, insurance and much more.
- Membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme or Local Government Pensions Scheme which the trust also contributes to on your behalf.
- Recognition of previous service with other schools, academies, local government etc.
- Family friendly schemes such as maternity, paternity, shared parental and emergency dependent leave.

NEAT Academy Trust
NEAT Academy Trust, usually known as NEAT, was formed in 2017 from an existing collaboration of schools within North East England.
Academy trusts are charitable companies set up to provide education for the public benefit. We are a “mixed” multi-academy trust as we were established to include both non-faith and Church of England schools.
