Thomas Walling Primary Academy, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy school environment, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
This is a term time role plus 3 extra training days.
The role of Senior Administrator mainly involves:
- Managing pupil admissions, liaising with parents, governors, and the Local Authority
- Maintaining accurate records on SIMS, including school census, pupil data, medical information, and Free School Meals eligibility
- Ordering and managing school resources, uniforms, and stock control
- Providing administrative and clerical support across the academy, including secretarial duties, mail handling, and staff training bookings
- Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection protocols are followed
