Hours: 30 hours per week (Mon-Fri,8.00-3.00pm with early finish one morning / afternoon to be negotiated), Term Time Only (38 weeks), Temporary contract- maternity cover from April 2025
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team at St. Matthew’s Catholic Primary School in Prudhoe.
St Matthew’s is a vibrant and growing primary school situated in picturesque Prudhoe. The successful candidate will:
• Be an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner with high expectations of themselves and for our children
• Be able to deliver whole class teaching as part of the school’s PPA arrangements
• Be willing to join our staff team to further improve outcomes for our children and participate fully in the life of our vibrant school
• Understand the needs of SEND children across our nurturing and inclusive school, supporting class teachers in reviewing short term SMART targets on SEND support plans
• Be able to work with parents to provide the very best support for all our children
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A collaborative and cooperative approach to teamwork.
