Hours: 6 hrs 40 mins per week (Monday- Friday, 7:25 am – 8:45 am, Term Time Only (38 weeks), Fixed term until 31st December 2026
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is based in Blaydon. We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team in January 2025 to assist our wraparound provision for children aged 3-11.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of the children in in our Wraparound provision.
We are seeking an individual to:
• Provide a high standard of care for children in wraparound provision.
• Work as part of a team to provide and maintain an enabling, stimulating, safe environment.
• Build and maintain a strong working partnership with parents and carers.
• Ensure the wraparound provision is run to meet the needs of the children and complies with all necessary compliance legislation and policies.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• An understanding of the needs of children.
• An ability to work within a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organisation skills.
