St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School is a smaller than average primary school in the heart of Old Fold Road estate, Gateshead.
The Governors wish to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our highly effective team. The role will be to work with children in our Early Years unit with Nursery and Reception children. The successful candidate will be required to provide support for all pupils including children with SEN. They will work in class, with small groups and individuals.
The candidate should have the following:
- Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience of planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- A good understanding of children’s learning
- Sound practical, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience of supporting children with SEN
- Be flexible and approachable
